Canada: steviol glycosides in canned fruit


Effective April 3rd, Health Canada is allowing the use of steviol glycosides from Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni in canned fruits products. These are already allowed in various food products as a sweetener. Further details of the changes can be found here:
